Undergraduate program

The Department of Physics and Astronomy offers undergraduate majors in Physics and in Astronomy, although most astronomy majors also co-major in Physics. Detailed information about the undergraduate program can be found here. Prospective undergraduate majors are encouraged to visit the University and the Department. A formal visit can be scheduled by contacting the University admissions office. Graduate program

The Department has M.S. and Ph.D. programs in physics with an astrophysics emphasis. Please follow this link to request information about graduate admissions to the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Detailed information on how to apply for admission (GRE's, letters, transcripts, TOEFL scores, etc)  is given here.  Financial aid, in the form of fellowships, research assistantships, or teaching assistantships is offered to 95% of accepted incoming graduate students in a typical year.
