This page describes how to register for for the online resources at www.masteringastronomy.com. It contains REGISTERING FOR THE FIRST TIME 1. Set your browser to www.masteringastronomy.com. 2. Click on the textbook cover for Stars, Galaxies, and Cosmology (on the right). 3. You will see this screen: |
4. Click the Register button.
5. Click on the new user button. Then enter the access code contained in the 'Student Access Kit' found in your textbook, the UI zip code (52242), and US.
6. Fill in the personal information on the next screen, including a username and password. An email will automatically be sent with your chosen username and password in case you forget later.
7. Next, click the 'Join a Class' button as shown below. Enter the class ID: AST29050S06
7. When asked for your Student ID, enter your University ID number.
ACCESSING ON-LINE TUTORIALS, PRACTICE QUIZZES, HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS, AND GRADES
1. Login to the www.masteringastronomy.com website using your username and password.
2. Click on the appropriate button at left.
